We run a set of OpenVPN servers. We need a system to help us monitor server performance from an end-user’s perspective. This system should launch an OpenVPN client to connect to each of our servers, perform a set of upload/download tests while connected to the VPN, then save the results to a file. This should be written in a script language like Python, deployed on a Linux machine we provide, and also compiled as a Windows EXE.
