Silverlight 3 Map Layer Control – Bound To RIA Services

Summary: Extend the silverlight virtual earth map control to filter for locations based on bound data.

Extended Summary: This control will be used to quickly locate sports clubs in the UK and Ireland. Club details will be taken from a SQLServer 2005 database using RIA services and placed on the map in the club locations.

The user will be able to select filter criteria from a window on the left hand side of the map which will show/hide the items representing the sports clubs on the map.

The map will automatically zoom to the appropriate zoom level when a criteria has been chosen.
