Brief Summary: This a server side software crawler to be written in python, perl or php, language preferred in the order mentioned. It will be a modular software, written in components, so that frequent modifications and extensions/additions are possible. It will post requirements to B2B sites, get responses from the response mailboxes of the concerned site, respond to them with a predefined response. Also, it will search the concerned sites for a keyword/search criteria given by human and add all results (companies, people) to the database and if required, send them a pre-determined message. All correspondence to be saved in local database and removed from the remote site. Server to be used Centos v. 5.x latest stable release and RDBMS postgreSQL latest stable release. Sites will be added on an ongoing basis. So the developer will need to quote for adding each additional site. Client wishes to add several hundred sites, several of them not in english, so developer needs to understand localization in postgreSQL. |
