Brief Summary: I am about to launch a free web application to the world. As you know Facebook, Gmail, Skype - they are all free. Because I am expecting a lot of users, my front page and website theme must be EXTREMELY quick to download. If you look at Facebook (for example) - the only images are the facebook logo itself (67 bytes), and the image with the people connected in the world. I estimate that the maximum size of the page is 50k. Please see my image attached. The logo in the image is my logo, and should not change (unless you believe it should). I used Arial Rounded MT Bold (smooth) - in photoshop Any graphic that we agree to use must mean that I purchase that image fom the stock library (such as dreamstime.com) I DO NOT want any legal issues. The content in the images is what I need. The new design and layout is your job. EVERYTHING where possible must be text which I can use in the webpage and be as smooth looking as possible. Notice how skype's text (large fonts) seem smoother than that of Facebook - but they are both text in the browser. In my image, the smaller text I used was Tahoma Regular 12pt which seems smooth enough, but the words "Register" and the line below it "It's free for anyone to join*" are not as smooth looking as I would like it to be. The page you design must be fun and proffessional at the same time. I have photoshop CS3, so I would like the file you designed back to me in PSD. The "musdoo" logo must be a png on a white background, since I use it on a white background inside the site. The main content of the site must fit within the browser for screen res 800 pixels wide, but you can extend the width to make sure the page looks nice in higher resolutions. If you want to do the XHTML, and you have the skills, please quote me seperately for that. Thhis job is for Graphic Design |
