Brief Summary: I am looking for a Joomla component based off the "Bulk Import" component that can be found at: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migration-a-conversion/data-import-a-export/7243. This is a gpl'd component that you can use to base your code off to save time. The requirements are: 1) add an article template that allows specifying the content of the article to be generated that allows inserting columns from the csv file being imported. Preferably allowing use of a wysiwg html editor (the builtin one) and a plugin that does text replacement of the column data with something like "{col:4}" with data from column 4. 2) allow for saving of all the specifics for an import for a specific site or file format with a name. The current "Bulk Import" component forces one to enter/select everything every time one does an import. This component should allow for saving the import parameters including the template so one merely needs to click on the name of the saved import specs and then upload the file to be imported. |
