Brief Summary: We require in the form of a windows script or executable, which is capable of: 1.) Turning off all monitors attached to a PC, regardless of what the PC may be doing 2.) Turning on all monitors attached to a PC, regardless of what the PC may be doing (NOT Wake on LAN). The PC may be doing something like playing a video at the time, and this script needs to force the screen to turn off (stand by perhaps) without turning back on afterwards, unless the script is executed to turn on. You can either choose to implement this as a set of executables/scripts or executables with arguments passed for the two variations of the script. The file should be executable on Windows XP, Vista or 7, both 32 and 64 bit. In either case, the script or command will be called locally. |
