Brief Summary:

The website is for a project called LivePeace that will act as a portal for events organised for LivePeace weeks in 2011 and 2012. These events will be organised by people in localities around the globe, but will not be centrally managed.

However, I would like the site to allow people to input their local events, where they are being held and who is hosting them, and we would also like a facility to be able to see where in the world events have been organised and any details about these events.
The overall plan would be to have a site where it is possible to see in real time where events are being held, what people are planning to do and when.

This project will be ongoing at least until December 2012, though the main site should be complete by this summer 2010.

You need to be able to work with a designer,(myself) and be confident about saying when design proposals are inappropriate for the type of coding required. I would want to work with the freelancer over this two year period without difficulty.
So although the initial project is a website, this is not a quick job, I would hope it will build a long term working relationship.
