Brief Summary: Support is desired in three areas, blogging, podcast, and webmaster. The ideal provider will be skilled in each area. You'll be supporting the publishing activities of a network of business websites. In some cases you'll be working with production resources -- other times you'll just be preparing materials to publish. ![]() To help you bid more accurately, the buyer was interviewed about the requirements for this bid request. Below are their answers. Duties will include: Blogging Support Will be provided access to images, html/text, and media files to post on various content platforms. You'll prepare content for posting, including cropping pictures, and cleaning up HTML. Before posting or scheduling a post, all items will be spell checked, proof read, and reviewed by you. May support the migration and management of Blogger, MovableType, or Wordprss installations. Includes adding users, updating content, fixing broken links, and handling permissions. Podcast Support For media files recieved, you'll perform noise reduction, remove clicks, or other distracting audio. If a timeline is provided, you'll edit and update audio. Audio will be downloaded by secure FTP or SSH, processed, then finished items uploaded. You'll be creating audio for streaming, Mp3, and DVD/CD audio. Webmaster Support Periodically you'll support the launch, migration, and management of various web properties. Will include updating and moving files, installing limited software, database back up (PhpMyAdmin), and downloading log files. Ideal canidate will be familiar with CVS/SVN, XHTML/HTML, and have strong written English skills. Nice to have (but not required) items would be Apache server management, Php, Perl, and/or SEO. As with all my projects, hours per week will start low and build up as load and skill demands.
