Description:

Hi Coders got a quick simple project for someone that is good with excel. I have some data excel files that are not formatted they way I would like them. I have uploaded an example data file that needs some reworking. Please download the file and look it over before bidding.

What I am looking to do is take the data that is arranged in columns A through G and have it look like what I did by hand in columns I though T. Basically what I want is to take row 3 and row 4 from the input section and merging them onto its own separate line like I did in line 3 of the output file. Then going down to lines 5 and 6 of the input file and put them on their own separate line like I did on line 4 of the output section. The reason I need a script is because there are 20,000 rows of data in most of my sheets and to this by hand would take forever.

I need this done ASAP (within 36 hours max, hopefully sooner) once I accept a bid so if you can't get it done in that time please don't bid.

Deliverables:
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement).
  • All deliverables must be uploaded to Rent A Coder before the deadline(s) for this bid request...with no exceptions. If this contract makes it impossible for a competent person to do this, then do not start this bid request...but instead alert Rent A Coder of an un-arbitratable, illegal bid request.
  • Remember that contacting the other party outside of the site (by email, phone, etc.) on all business bid requests <$500 (before the buyer's money is escrowed) is a violation of both the software buyer and worker agreements. Rent A Coder monitors all site activity for such violations and can instantly expel transgressors on the spot, so we thank you in advance for your cooperation.
