Our client would like some modifications done to an existing shopping cart as well they are unhappy with the current order in which items are purchased. They would like a proper step by step approach then what is currently there, but to be more consistent. The current shopping cart is for a cell phone company selling phones; however they would like to add on and enhance the ability to add-on features, accessories etc. They would like the order of operations to be as follows:
Going through the transaction, the pages to go through should be,
1. selecting the phone and the plan (already in place),
2. then a page of wireless essentials (like adding voicemail, call display, long distance), - (currently set to add on features but the want it set in a way that they can continue to purchase these features until the buyer is finished then move on the the next category ...
3. then accessories, (this would be similar to the previous step)
4. then they are sent to a page to input credit check information (this would be an alert that says if you are purchasing a phone with a plan and wish to activate your phone online click here) then are sent to a page to fill in the information, otherwise they would hit a button saying "Please contact me directly to obtain my credit check information" .... then they proceed to purchase the product.
5. As is currrently all the information as well as the above is sent via email alert to them to follow up and process the order.
The customer information we need for the credit check page is their home phone number, and a space for the credit check with up to 3 pieces of identification. (mandatory one field must be entered)
They can use credit card, drivers licence, or Sin card number.
Credit card with space for the Number, expiry (mm/yy), security value.
Drivers licence with space for the letter and number, expiry (mm/dd/yy), province,Sin Card - with space for the 9 digit Number
Also there needs to be a note about consent to do the credit check with the information given."By submitting the information provided above, the changes to the credit information are final and the customer agrees to proceed with the Credit Check." • All deliverables must be uploaded to Rent A Coder before the deadline(s) for this bid request...with no exceptions.
